I don't know the exact year, but I have the same snare drum. It came with a kit that I bought from the original owner. The owner bought the kit new in 1975 or 76 so I imagine your snare is from around then too. Hope that helps.

Thanks, for answering my question. I've had it about 10 years. I got it when, I worked at a music store. It's a great sounding drum, and easy to play.
