Sorry man... true confession I have no actual knowledge I just enjoy searching and learning... however I'm too damn old to remember much so it's mostly just searching.. :)

It looks like they switched the badge in 67 and then put serial numbers in 71. I think that is right now.

In addition,...
A few weeks ago I came across a gorgeous Premier set in sizes 22", 12" and a 16" X 20" floor tom. Also included was a Super Ace, all in White Duroplast. It was clearly a matching set in superb condition and the odd thing was it had the late 50's small script badge on the bass drum where the other drums had the regular 1960 to 1967 one.

I heard serial numbers in 1970....will try to nail that rumour down...
