What would you offer?

I can't go check it out until I get a tetanus shot. LOL

But seriously, I know where you are coming from Kevin. We had my 90 year old father-in-law here for a few weeks this summer, being a child of the depression era, he loves nothing more than going to garage sales, and finding creative ways to re-use and re-purpose stuff. He would echo your "you don't know if you don't go" statement for sure, but it would be poorly translated from Polish. If he was ten years younger, he would get out his cutting torch and welding rig and turn that pile of drum junk into a giant robot sculpture or something.

Stop stringing and tuning your instrument, make music now.

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Here's a question for the MIJ experts...What year did Tama start lining their shells with schnauzers?

From kevins

Depends on how much "sweat equity" you're willing to put in.....You don't know unless you goI've wound up with some very nice items from "batch sales" I would have passed on had I judged solely by the pics....Even the feet off the un-restorable stands have some "original value" The low-end shells might be welcomed at a non-profit music school or other charity as wellJust some first-coffee-of-the-day thoughts...lol

I really like your positive attitude Kevin always thinking of people in need

Thank you!

I also agree with Kevins

I am sure you can pull together a kit or two from the items. Maybe one to donate to a kid in need or young kid just learning to play. The fun is the build !
