Don, that looks great! That's exactly what I have in mind. And I was already watching that eBay auction, but thanks for the heads up as I wasn't exactly sure what market value was. Thanks for the inspiration!

[COLOR="Green"]I would say those are salvageable. Wood glue, clamps, some wood filler, etc. And, as was mentioned...patience.

Slingy lugs are, thankfully, relatively cheap and plentiful on eFlay.

The edges, if you can even just find a cabinetmaker or woodshop to reroute onnce they are reglued, that shouldn't cost much at all. And, really, only the batter side. The res sides you can probably sand and file by hand if you wanna save some $.

If one of the shells seems too gone to be worth your trouble, then just sell it as-is and recoup some $ you can use on hardware purchase.[/COLOR]
