I rescued a Rogers drum from being thrown in the dumpster yesterday by the music company I work for. My question is, how do I tell what type of drum it is? It is a 12" x 15" drum. Natural wood on the inside of the drum. The Rogers logo on it is from the 60's-early 70's era. It has a Dyna-Sonic circle emblem on the front with the serial #16276. It has 10 beavertail lugs per side. Flaked silver sparkle wrap (possibly pearl in it?). I see no attachment hardware on it for a drum set or floor tom legs. Possibly a marching drum? Thank you for your time!

Ploughman,
Why did Rogers install Dynasonic labels on marching tenors? Did these labels include serial numbers (accounting for a lot of missing Ser #s from actual Dynasonic snares)? Is there any chance these tenors were made from snare shells with snare beds?

All of the higher grade marchers were called dyanasonic......including the bass drums. No snare bed. Dynasonics of this era only had a .oo4 snare bed.
