It's a nut-dangling hi-hat! You work the pedal and it lifts and drops all those nuts against that red metal plate. It must be one seriously noisy SOB of a hi-hat! Talk about shake, RATTLE and roll!

John

Too many great drums to list here!

Nut Dangler? There's definitely a joke in there somewhere. :p

I wouldn't be surprised if it shows up in Terry Bozzio's kit one day.

A drummer cannot derive full benefit of the Nut Dangler while wearing Spandex. I don't think Mr. Bozzio wears Spandex any more. So, he could probably incorporate this item within his massive drum assemblage.

A story for another forum? What kind of show do you put on?

I don't do any freaky kinda shows. It was an unfortunate full cage rack system incident. I thought it would be cool to hop over the top bar to get to my kit. But caught my shoe lace on a wing nut and fell in a heap behind my kit. Great days!

Do we need further proof that "SHOW" is a foolish word to use for playing a gig, or job, or engagement, or dance, or party, or festival, etc. Leave the "SHOWS" for Cirque du Soliel.
