This piece came in a bag of hardware that was included with a kit I purchased. I'm not even sure it's for drum hardware. It almost appears like a handle or something......not sure.
Thanks for any help.

It looks like it might of had wheels on it such as a timpani or xylophone or something to that natures wheel system???

I'm leaning more towards something like you suggest. ("Chew-bone for C3PO"?) It looks so familiar, but I can't nail it down.
Thanks.
PS - Who wants it?
It looks familiar because it is the same shape as the security latch inside your hotel room.
How about some dimensions/scale?

Good one. Hotel room. Evidently you stay at nicer places than I. (I thought the CD ***el case would provide some scale.) Well, JohnDavidDean, it's 4" long and 1-1/16" at it's widest, which is at the eyes, perhaps similar to yours.
Look forward to your appraisel.

This was my first thought too. If it is a drum part the door lock that now substitutes for the old chain style would make a good replacement.
