I have a Star made kit with no re-rings (post '67) where you can see the area where the badge used to be - and it is round - like the round Star badges.
Since it is post-1967 I am wondering what particular Star badge it could have had. There were several variations of the Star round badge.

Did you check the section pertaining to badges? I have an early seventies kit with the badge shown below the Royal Star badge. I'm not sure if there were "several variations" of the Star round badge though. Maybe Ralf's site might help.

So - not conclusive of which one. This weekend I will shoot some pics and post them for ID help.

It's impossible to state the exact Star badge of your drumset.
Best idea would be to take that badge from one of the drumsets from my website, where the wrap is the same.
The type of wrap can also be an indication of the time of production, as well as the rest of the hardware (type of rail consolette, type of lugs).
