That's the original Cabria line I bought them when the first came out very good sounding drums. I used them on 3 live recordings before I sold them to my church and purchased my maple Catalina's.

Currently my first set ever 1983 Pearl Export original owner. 2008 Grestch Catalina Maple, and a 1970 Star kit. Many snares including a big R Dynasonic.
Previous Rogers Holiday 12, 16, 20 and powertone snare.

Did you get the kit? Those shells are thin and are very resonant.

The '95-'98 APK were eucalyptus and meranti

The 1st Gen. English made Cabria were basswood/eucalyptus/poplar according to the '99 press release.
