Camco's chubby washers. (I couldn't resist...)
What pieces of each brand's parts would your ideal vintage drum set have on it?
Gretsch SSB Rosewood finish (20", 12" 14") with Rogers Swivomatic mounting hardware.
Mid-sixties Supra with P86 strainer.
Pearl Iso feet if and where they fit.
Caroline bass pedal.I'd love to have one I was willing to take to gigs. Mine feels like a slipper, it's so comfortable and responsive; I keep it on a rehearsal kit.
Yamaha stands would round it out for me.
So, you picked up on my smart-aleck answer! Clapping Happy2
But hey, I included Ludwig, Slingerland, Gretsch, and Camco!

Just buy early Rogers Jasper shells ,the very best Hardware ever made, and awesome colors in real glass.....their weak spots in MY opinion foot pedal so I would swap out a speedking, and a 402 for the dyna both great snares one is just less complicated. gretch, slingy, ludwig hardware was all bad, compared to Rogers.....
I was expecting folks to enjoy imagining mixing vintage brands and eras, but the brand bias is strong with this thread! Purist thinking leads to very uninteresting answers to this particular question... :)
I had an early 70's Rogers kit with Swiv-O hardware but the collets were the bad ones and they were all cracked. I've heard the machined ones were much better than the cast ones. I've not yet owned a 60's Rogers kit so I can't vouch for their hardware quality, but I can say that I don't like the way it looks compared to some other stuff from that period. Aesthetic appearance has to factor into this as well. I really like the look of Sonor teardrop lugs, for instance, and the offset positioning.
