What Make/Brand are these drums?

My 9-year old beginner drum student told me his parents bought him an "old" drum set. I asked him to send me a picture of the set (see attached). What are these?? Steel shells, no logo or labels, Gretsch knock-off lugs. I'm assuming these are vintage MIJ. The Camco pedal is probably worth more than that whole set.

Not sure of the make but might have to set it up for him if he is right handed.

Batter head is on wrong side. Should be a good starter kit.

almost looks like a Gretsch kit that has been horribly "refinished". More likely Japanese.

I had a MIJ Norma with those FT brackets and large Mickey Mouse style wing nuts. That set also has the same MIJ stick saver hoops as well.
