what make drum is this

Loading...

hi,

first post. i am just learning vintage drums. i picked up a slingerland inner milk painted bdp 13" tom and a later 5 ply 24" kick. i'm looking to get a 16 x 16" floor tom and i came across this. the owner says it has reinforcement rings. he is not that knowledgable with vintage drums either. it doesn't look like slingerland or ludwig or like other popular drums from looking at the lugs. i don't own it yet but i have some images. any idea?

uploaded the two images, not sure if i got it right though to display.

thank you,

tony

That's a 1968-71 Ludwig Standard in Silver Mist. It was Ludwigs answer to the import explosion of the eary 1970's. Worth around $100-$150.
