The initial post had nothing to do with how the drums sound, as far as I understood. The question had to do with whether or not the assemblage of drums in question was a named configuration or not. Answer: No, it is not. And it does matter to a lot of people. More often than not, IF given the choice of having a no-named assemblage of vintage drums and a named configuration, I know of no collector who would choose the former. So, yeah, it really does matter to many people and this type of question gets asked a lot.
