That is contact paper! I've done a couple POS kits with that stuff. It actually looks nice, but does not shine. I put a coat of clear lacquer on it to shine it up a bit. The stuff is cheap and makes kids happy. I sell the kits for $140.00 with sticks and a key, kick pedal, high hat, cymbal stand and cheap cymbals. I hardly make anything on 'em but it's a fun thing to do. It also keeps me from having to do real stuff like the dreaded housework and yard work my wife mentions from time to time. LoLoLoLo

I'm going to guess the 3 drums are Star's of some type-60's vintage.The snare is a 90's Pearl Export.The cymbals look interesting.
