What kind of snare drum

Was this 14"x 7" drum used for a carousel mechanical music box? Banjo tension snare drum? Has a hard bottom with a resonator. Stamped on the inside of the shell is the number 104 Inside bottom head reads Jos B Rodgers jr extra thin warranted.

Hi onaroll...and Welcome to the forum! That's a really cool drum. Unfortunately, I don't have a clue as to what it might be. I'm sure we have other members that may be able to offer some information about it.

Hello,

Cool drum if I remember right that drum was sold by Duplex drum in the late 20s to the 30s..
