What Kind of Slingerland Drum do I have?

Loading...

HI,

I have a slingerland snare drum in champagne sparkle. The Niles badge with serial number 56419 puts it, I believe pre-1965, if I used this site correctly. It has a zoomatic strainer, reinforcing rings (the color of the shell matches them) and the hex/slotted screws inside. The rims seem to curve inside. Are they stick savers?? Ihave had the drum about 15 years and don't know anyting about it. I am trying to find out if it is a single ply or 3 ply shell and an approximate value, although it is not for sale (my wife would kill me!). ANY HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!! This is my first posting so I don't know what I am doing.

You can look here for different Slingerland Snare drums.

For the ply, just give us a photo or two...you might look here for what the shells look like

Stick Saver is the name for the hoops...

Price depends on the shell, so let's narrow that down.
