i bought a gretsch round badge kit a few years ago and it came with this no-name drum. it's 13x9 like the actual RB tom, but has no badge or mark anywhere on it.
any ideas?

What`s under that wrap ? It looks like a six inch strip that has been covered !
I noticed that as well!! It looks too defined to be camera shadow or anything...

good eye - there definitely is something under the wrap right there. any reason to try to see what it is?

Yes, Your lugs wont sit flat and when you tighten the top fastener, you`ll get ripples in the wrap at the top of the lugs !!
