What is this kit worth?

Loading...

Hello. I've been browsing these forums for a few weeks but haven't posted until now. I acquired this old Stewart drum kit for free from a friend of mine. They're not in the best shape, but definitely playable. Here's more details:

Just wondering if I'm in the ball park with this or not? I figure $400 may be a bit steep, but I don't want to undersell them before I know what they are worth.

NOT trying to sell them on this board, just hoping to get a better idea of what I'm looking at. I'm really surprised at the quality of sound; much better than North American made kits I've heard from the same price range.

Thank you.

Nope, you`re on the racetrack and you`re about to crash !!

Most people will call them firewood or something,...then some will compliment the sound that a good ear can get from them.

I wouldn`t pay $400 for them and the market is not there again so if you are willing to wait for that guy looking for them you might get your asking !!

What cymbals are with them ?

It`s a drum,.....Hit It !!

With the cymbals and hardware you could be close but i think you,re on the "high side". If you were to be offered 275-300 i,d take it and run...they are nice sounding drums IF they,re complete.

Hit like you mean it!!

Great. Thanks a lot guys. The cymbals are old B8s. Nothing great. I think I'll re-list it for 300 then. Thanks a bunch.

Was really confused because I've seen people on these boards (old posts) saying how they should be worth more, how they loved them, etc.
