I have a set of Slingerland single headed drums. What would be the best heads to use to make these drums sing for rock? They came with single ply Attack heads.

Are they 70s?
I like the Ludwig Silver Dots for concert toms... but a lot of folks like the Remo pinstripes or the Remo CS-Dots (controled sound)
