I'm looking for 2 single pedals, would rather have newer technolgy just think it might be smoother, this is going on my double bass Sling, I found this, anyone know if this is a good deal. Sonor makes good gear, what do you think?
What do you think of this pedal?

I've used this particular Sonor pedal before great action on the peal But I didn't like the narrow footboard, get a couple of tempo kings or yellow jacket pedals you'll have slingerland and they both are great pedals!
Maybe I'm wrong but I would think the newer technology would be smoother just because of improvements made over the years.........NO?

I haved tryed them. i dont think it's so great of a pedal. single chain, narow board, and the beater feels a bit on the light side. for sonor you would need to spend a few bucks in order to get the good stuff fom them i would check out some of pearl's pedals in that price range. the mid stuff realy aint that bad

Maybe the best thing would be to try and demo the pedals before making a total decision? I have used many pedals on my own kits and on back lines kits, some of the best pedals have been the cheapies not the high dollar thousand adjustment pedal's. with that said I have a leedy professional pedal that is as basic as they come yet it works perfectly, I have and use a DW 5000 ad2 pedal, my band plays almost a 3 hour show with a ten minute break. if it wasn't for the design of the cam and the pedal weights on the foot board, I would run out of gas before the show is over my bass player uses a Ampeg SVT with the 810 cab, and the guitarist uses a croos between marshall, vox, fender all tube powered and we are a freight train loud and I'm an old **** also, so without the Dw pedal I now have I have had this happent's before on a speed king and a tempo king, so the point about this rant is a bass drum pedal is a very Individual thing so what might be good for me Isn't good for you, the Sonor Pedal your looking at is a great pedal It's just that I like a foot board that fits all of my foot, I had a sonor 300 pedal it was awesome but it was a simple spring loaded pedal with a regular foot board. also will you post pics of the Pearl Stainless steel kit, do you have any shots of inside the shells? thanks
Thanks for bass feedback, my pearl kit is on my friends web site, it is all stainless steel. (outside wrap only) inner shells are 9ply mahogony / birch ..made extremely well, other than a few scratches on the bass, its in great shape, I have 3 three chrome kits so I need to make a change, I will look at offers, although not crazy about shipping drums, here ya go...

Those chrome o wood pearls are built like a tank and they are good sounding drums, just heavy as !#@$, good luck on the sale, Yeah I didn't think pearl built an entire stainless steel kit,
I've got this pedal. I think it's fine, but maybe I just haven't tried any better.
