What do you see in these pics? Camco? Last viewed: 1 day ago

I’m by no means a Camco expert but when I saw these pics in an ad I noticed the round lugs and white badges on what appears to be a silver sparkle Camco set of some sort. Judging by the rusted stands I would say everything is pretty well roached, but there is also a Ludwig blue sparkle floor tom and possible Ludwig concert toms or timbales in the distance. And of course a couple of junk bass shells in the foreground. I think the asking price is $200 for everything. What do you guys think? Pursue it or stay away?

Looks like part of an old Camco kit to my eyes. If you don't buy these, please let me know. All that Camco kit needs is a re-wrap and a floor tom.

Too many great drums to list here!

Yep..I see the white Camco badge on the toms.Ludwig early 60's floor tom,Pearl bass drum,Tama bass drum.Earlier Camco I guess because of the two 12" toms. Some 60's Ludwig cymbal and Hi Hat stands as well.Rust city...but worth a look.

I see water damage on some of those drums. If you notice, the computer chair is on cinder blocks and plywood. The stands for sure look like they have come in to contact with at least super high humidity if not fully submersed in water. How far is the trip to take a look? If it's close it's for sure worth a look but be cautious.

Got some more info...these were stored in a barn which is pretty obvious from the amount of rust. I'm pretty concerned about drums not having reso heads on them and what kind of condition the inside of the shells might be like after sitting in a barn environment for who knows how long. These are an hour away from me.

My kind'a project... those will be special and you will know them like your own hand... $200 for all that stuff... grab it!

Even if the shells are completely shot that Camco hardware and badges would still be awesome to have on the shelf waiting for that special moment when the right shells show up.

Not a Guru... just interested..
