Any idea?? Thanks

Could be a Ludwig Suprahonic or a Super Sensitive. The badge is from the 80's.
Supraphonic 400 with non-original hoop.
"What do you make of this one"
A hat, a brooch, a pterodactyl ...
:p
Someone is selling these CB drums with Ludwig snare and Paisti 505 hi hats for 250.00.
I'm thinking that it's a Suprahonic. Hard to tell from those pictures. If it is, and it's in pretty good shape, I'd do it. You'd be buying the snare and getting the other drums, equipment and cymbals free, kinda.
The kit looks like it's the CB's with that keyhole lug. I've owned a couple of those, got one in the garage right now. For MIJ's, they ain't bad... Oh yeah, the first was the one I spray painted copper... the one I sent the picture of.
AT 250.00 for all that is high to me.I would offer 125.00 to 150.00.The Ludwig snare is the onlt thing thats good. The C.B.700 drums are the newer ones with the Pearl type of copy lug on them these are from the 90's .If the set was a 70's set with the "rounded" type of lug that C.B.700 used then. The shells would be the same as you would fine on Pearl made drums 9ply shells with out rings..If the set has these types of lugs then yes 250.00 would be a ok deal but 200.00 would be better...Mikey
Paiste 505's are a similar, but not identical cymbal to a 2002-a "budget"version, but not student cymbals.I've had 2 505 crashes since the early 80's,and they have held up well. Those and the Superphonic are worth $200.And the CB's-at least they have the right # of lugs.I have a black bass drum in the orphan group up in the attic,if you want to build a double bass set.....that actually might be pretty cool Burger Kin That also looks like a good quality Tama HH stand. Is there a bass pedal?

No bass pedal, I would like to go look at these but money is an issue and they are in Chicago, 170 miles one way. If it werent so close to Christmas and I didnt have a ton of work to do I might drive up there. But need to spend what money I do have on others right now. Just thought if the snare was very valuable I would do it but someone said it had incorrect rim. I want to get a supra some day. Thanks for your input on the cymbals, that was another factor in the decision to make the trip. Since they are student quality that helps make the decision easier. They are probably sold by now anyway.
Thank you,
Jeff C
After I read Mikey's post, I pulled the picture and did some resizing magic to get a good look at the lugs. He's right, this is the later kit... not the 'rounded' or what I call the keyhole type lugs. Also, the rack tom mounts seem to be the newer as well... You're right, pass on it unless you can get it for much less.
