What do you know about this vintage Leedy hand drum?

Hi,

Just trying find out about this (pictured) vintage Leedy "Chinatype" hand drum? Is there a name for it? When was it made? Current value? Is is unique or fairly common? Also, what's the brief history of the Leedy company?

It measures approx. 10" in diameter and 4" high.

Probably was part of a 1920s Leedy drumset.
