When watching old Beach Boys footage dennis had hi-hats and one big cymbal... was that one big cymbal just a ride or a crash/ride and did it have rivets?? And later on when he had two big cymbals were they both crash rides? And did he always use zildjian? Cuz that was a couple decades before sabian and paiste wasnt as widely used right^

I don't remember seeing any rivets in that one. That was I believe it was a 20" good for everything" cymbal, ie. a crash ride.
