What brand of cymbal stand will take a 7/8" tube,as in a Pearl tom arm? Not Pearl,not Tama...I'm saying with no "tom tree",just the arm in the stand.

Pacific stands will, some Tama / Pearls will. I've found the three tier boom stands usually work best as the top post is generally 7/8".
