The badges were attached with, it seems, 2 small screws or pins and
not a grommet. I'm guessing that narrows the possibilities somewhat.
Royce?
Maxwin? Pearl stencil early 70's to...? Cool color.
I have a similar set in red, though mine was badged as U.S.Mercury. But I've seen them with CB badges,Royce,etc... The badge without grommet is fairly common for MIJ drums, many were affixed with two small nails ( like Tack nails ) The badge mark looks more oval, so that does rule out a good chunk of badges. But still leaves a good amount. Good solid set of drums though, and the color is killer.
Early Pearl Maxwin i would say.... but from the holes of the badge it must be something different!

I agree with "Maxwin" by Pearl being the most common badging for those, (also the Maxwin badges were fitted by two pins).

Thanks for the replies.
Just did a google search on Maxwin drum badge, and the images come up rectangular with 2 brads and no grommet.
The badge area in the pics above definitely seems oval. Did Maxwin also make oval badges?
Look at some Royce branded kits... same kit Oval badge with the 2 pins..
Cheers
John
(to my knowledge all of the Maxwins were rectangular)
(Just noticed Jay's post above) already covered...
"Cortley" was a very common oval stencil badge up here in the N.East-
Damn and blast... sometimes I hate computers...
