Anyone able to tell what these are? They are super close to me. Anyone seeing anything special here? I'm a guitar guy so I'm far from being an expert!
Are they even vintage? I might possibly be interested in buying them as a project to refinish.

MIJ's- I believe the tom mount receiver and double mount are Star .I'm thinking around 1970. The hi-hats may be worth the trip...

Yep.
Yep. 50 vs 50 that they are something good. But if you're not familiar with the different cymbal names, it could become difficult...
From what I just can see from the pic, I would not pay more than 50 bucks for the lot.
Ralf
3 ply MIJs with re-rings? I'd give $50 just for that. That Paiste is probably worth most of another $50 just on it's own.
And then to top it off you have at least another $80 worth of hardware and stands, not to mention the hi hat cymbals. I think $125 is a reasonable price, i'd try to get it down to $80 but I don't see it realistically going any lower than that.
Hi Mutant. Since the original wrap is gone and those would have had a really cool wrap at one time. That kinda makes a little dent in the value, but those shells are really gonna put out a nice, warm, rounded tone. Check my youtube page for some technique to make them sing out loud.
Agreed Jonnistix, but just do some basic arithmetic here. 1 Paiste ride, gotta be at least $40, one pair of unknown hats. Assuming not absolute junk, I'd say no less than $30. Now there are at least 4 pieces among pedals and stands. A fair estimate puts those at about $20 a piece. Lets see, that comes to 40+ 30 +80=150 and we aren't even talking about shells yet. I'd put the shellpack WITHOUT the extras at $50 on its own. That comes to a total of $200 in value at a bare minimum. Would I pay that? No that's what I'd sell it for, but I'd sure pay $80.

Perfect Mallet Player2
Also, since they are 3 ply shells, That put them pre-67, but then, they could well have been an end of run, using whatever shells they found. Could you post a couple of pix of the tom mount hardware?

I concur! Jump For Joy Except the 3 ply w/rings makes them a bit older. Too bad the snare is missing, it would tell us the age via the throw off mech.
