What are these worth? Last viewed: 10 hours ago

Hey Amigos, assuming the wrap is in excellent condition, what do you think these would be worth once assembled and cleaned up?

They are 60's era Pearls and I'm told the wrap is in perfect condition.

even as cool as those are, they usually don't command big bucks. i'd look at completed ebay auctions on them for one thing. some guys won't pay more than 150 or so for a 60's mij kit. I think they are certainly worth more than that though. mid 60's on those I think. they look nice.

I agree those are nice but you're looking at $150 or so in new heads, which brings the $150 to $300. At that point you begin to think why not use that $$ for US vintage?

I had a nice Pearl 60s kit I sold for $140. Sometimes I wish I had it still but the investment in new heads turned me off...

The cleanup appears to already be done - so to expect a profit on the investment, based largely on the improvement of the cleanup, would not be wise, especially if heads need to be added (at a very significant cost). This deal (I have seen it too) is best for someone who wants to buy it and keep it, nothing left on the bone for a flip. But I must say - it sure is a beauty!

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!
