Here's a short video of the kit. I put the tom on a snare stand, I couldn't get a comfortable position with the rail mount. Use headphones for the best sound.

Ya, these drums tune up nice high or low, I like these 3ply mahogany shells more than the later maple 3ply shells.

I've never owned a WFL kit, but I have played on one. Great sounding drums. I tend to agree with you on the mahogany shells, a bit more warmer and fatter sounding than the maple shells. Nice chops my friend.

Nice. What heads are you running there?

I have coated ambassadors on all batter sides, clear ambassadors on resonant side of toms. The kick has a felt strip running across the batter side and a coated pre-muffled head on the resonant side with a 5 inch port hole. I'm going to replace that with a coated ambassador with no hole.

Sounds great bud! Do you mind sharing what type of camera you are using to record these? I went to your Youtube channel and watched the other videos with your full band. Band sounds great and that camera picks up the sound nicely.

I play in a funk/soul/disco group and I'd like to start recording the shows and to some extent, my own drumming to see any areas in need of improving.

Thanks, ya, I use an AT&T phone I got from my daughter a few years ago. It's not even activated, I just use it for pictures and videos. I doubt they still sell them.
