For anyone out there with any WFL twin throwoff snares... is the inner ply of your shell mahogany or maple?

I had a Ludwig and Ludwig 7x14 which was dual-throw and maple interior once, too.

Nice. I'm asking because I was under the impression that all WFL shells were mahogany inside, 3 ply. I have a few WFL snares like this. Then the other day, my "player's" twin throw snare arrived (for which I'm still looking for a strainer set-up...) and the inner ply is maple... was this the case with WFL snares for some certain date range, model, or ?
