Darn...link didn't work (although it showed up when I previewed the post). Oh, well...look it up...it's pretty crazy!
Link worked fine EMD.Amazing how those one man band drummers played them and it`s a very cool set.I don`t see these ofen making me think they`re on the scarce side. Thanks for posting...

Aaron - Man, how cool is that thing? I think you're supposed to play it with your right foot while you play banjo, or guitar with your hands. That would have belonged to a street musician. I can see picking up some coins on a corner somewhere playing that thing and a Banjo. Add in a dancing monkey and you're good to go! Great stuff. First one I've ever seen from behind, so you can see the workings of it..

Hi, Aaron!
I saw that too. Amazing! Here in Port Colborne, someone actually plays a similar kit during the annual Canal Days Celebration. He also plays a guitar, harmonica and sings while beating on the contraption!

Hey Brian if you ever see that guy again, record him on your cell phone and post a copy here. I haven't seen a one-man-band guy in decades. I'd love to see one at work again. They are huge fun to listen to. Pretty amazing musicians too, multi-talented.

Will do, John! Well, actually I'll ask my spouse to. I don't even own a cell phone.

> I don't even own a cell phone.
LOL - Me neither! My wife is the iphone lady, texting, yakking away with her friends. Not for me. I hate getting calls in the car, on the street, etc.
Next time you spot the one-man-band guy have your cell phone lady record it for us. :D

I saw this guy first time in San Francisco early 80s. Later at Summerfest in Milwaukee and some other festival. Pretty good live and versatile. Puts on a good show. [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=azb9kN1fgwc"]Professor Gizmo one-man-band Tiger Rag - YouTube[/ame]
Ha! Professor Gizmo rocks!
By the way, the one-man band WFL kit ended up selling for $787.77 last night. I figured it would be kinda high, since it is probably a one of a kind setup. Anywho...I have no interest in starting my own one-man band, but this WFL was pretty cool.
