It really doesn't look to me to be painted to be honest so thats good to get some feedback leading to that conclusion. I was a little bummed to think it had been painted. Is there a difference between the ludwig and ludwig pioneer drums I can use to say this drum is one or the other?? It came without the top hoop so ill have to purchase one, which blows because I want to hear this thing. Ill snap pics of the BD today for yah.
