WFL Contest Model Concert Snare

Loading...

Here's a WFL Contest Model Concert snare in a white lacquer finish, it was a good deal, so I went ahead and bought it. The previous owner said it was late 40's early 50's. It's all original with brass hoops and nickel lugs.

6.5x14

Thanks.

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Is yours the Contest or Concert model? Something close shows up in the 1957 catalog cut found in the Vintage Drum Guide link on this site.

Ya, mine has eight lugs, I'm looking to play it, unless I get an offer I can't refuse.Party
