WFL Bass Drum 1930s-50s
I'd have to guess somewhere between 1948-1955 going by the badge

Can't help you but I love it!
Single tension drums always look like toy drums to me - the kind they depict in cartoons - funky cool to the max, that's a sick bass drum!
Thank you I like them for that reason there fun to look at and play.
Do any of you know about how much this would be worth?
Do you have a whole kit, or just the bass ? If the latter, depending on the size, probably about $150-200 or so if it has no issues (extra holes, badly peeling paint, rust, warped shell, etc...)
Just the bass drum looking for a snare abt the same age as base drum.
No bass drum is in tip top shaper apart from the small tear
ummmm...It's actually not a single-tension bass drum.
"Nietzsche is dead." -God
That's true, they aren't - I should have said "single lug". Is that what you call them?
Center-lugged?
The kind with one double ended lug in the middle? Back in the day, we thought it denoted low end, and well, it did, but now, maybe because they're not so common, I dig 'em!
BTW is that drum key in the keystone a legit holder or did someone push the key in a regular badge?
