I have 9x13 and 16x16 wrapped toms, plus a 14x22 duco bass drum. The toms have classic lugs and the bass has large center lugs. The wrap is toasted on the two toms. Thinking I will paint all 3 drums, then beat the crap out of them. I may also 'convert' the bass drum to large classic lugs. I'm not too concerned about value, just curious... Did Ludwig paint the exterior of any super classics, or were they always wrapped?
