Bought this one a few years back on ebay.Somebody wanted vents I guess .

That looks like 2000's or newer asian built Gretsch, Like a catalina or something.

I'd agree. That throw off was only used on imported drums. That's not a Lightning. Doesn't mean it wasn't a nice drum, could have been a Renown or a Full Range model which are generally nice.
