Hey guys;

Just putting final touches on a pre-serial# Ludwig marching snare I picked up yesterday, and as I was tuning up the batter head, I noticed there was a section of the hoop that was not covering the ridge of the head. Seems slightly bulged in one section. Just wondering if anyone has a good technique for bending it back into shape accurately, without damage. Tried putting on side and gently pushing down, but am afraid of bending at the wrong place and making it worse. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
