... but there's more to it I'm afraid. EXACTLY what throw/butt is on your drum? The correct WFL Buddy Rich Super Classic snare drum should have the P87 strainer/throw and the P88 butt. I'll attach some pics of my 1955 WFL/Buddy Rich Super Classic that shows both of those.. however .. WFL built MANY of these drums with the P87 and the P32 butt. Technically, that configuration is NOT a Buddy Rich, but otherwise the rest of the drum is exactly the same. A correct BR model would also feature chrome lugs/hardware, but again... WFL built MANY set up with nickel hardware. Anyway... contingent on what your drum is set up with regarding the throw/butt will determine WHICH wires you need as the attachment system is different.. ( butt end only ) .. based on which butt you have.
