Hello,
I'm Looking to buy a vintage Japanese Kit (3 piece and snare). I've seen some Whitehall, Apollo, and Crown kits online, but was unable to snatch them up. I used to have a Whitehall kit and it looked and sounded so cool. Unfortunately, It got stolen. I'm really into the vintage look, but don't want to use my Slingerland's for shows all the time.
Anyone have a Japanese kit they're wanting to sell? Perhaps someone knows where to look to find one?

I'd play it as a 4 piece. Be careful of the floor tom leg mounts breaking.

All the lugs are the cool "daimnd facet cut" style...not the later Slingerland copy type. Did you ever get the set you were looking for? I have a set of Vintage (1965) Del Reys in very nice condition (including the matching snare). They are a black diamond pearl design.
