Hi, I just found this forum and had question. I bought a 10 piece Pearl Session series kit and want to remove wraps and apply laquer. Will this degrade sound in any way. I am a master wood worker and have expierience applying laquer. Should I use a dye and clear coat or apply just a colored laquer? I would appriciate any help on this topic, Thanks. Rusty
