Walberg & Auge Perfection Set for Sale

Loading...

I just picked up an Oaklawn Camco set and need to make some room so something has to go. 1969 W&A set with Gretsch Jasper shells, Ludwig black oyster pearl wrap and Gretsch hardware. Sizes are (depth x diameter) 8x12, 15x14, 14x20, 5x14.

8x12 is the only drum painted silver. The rest have clear interiors. It also has two dates in the shell below the RGB initials. Looks like it was intended for another set but was stashed for a few years and ended up with this one. Both toms have Gretsch die-cast hoops and both dated 5-69.

Snare has triple flanged W&A hoops. Some pitting on the chrome. This is the only drum with a foil badge. All other badges are aluminum. Dated 4-69

Bass drum was drilled for a Rogers bracket at one point and the cymbal arm bracket was moved leaving holes in the drum. These were expertly filled and camouflaged with matching wrap. Very hard to spot these from more than a couple of feet away. Gretsch mufflers on batter and resonant head. Two matching W&A cymbal arms included (only one pictured.) Dual spurs on tom side for added stability. W&A bass drum anchor included. Dated 5-69.

Extra holes in bass drum only. Toms and snare have original mufflers. Wrap is very vibrant and hardly (if at all) faded. Heads are snug on 12 but fit the other drums nicely.

Message me for additional photos or info. PM with offers. Best offer accepted.
