Rare and awesome, but pricey! Best of luck to the seller.

The price is the deal killer. Not in such great condition wrap-wise for a kit they're asking 5 grand for. For that price I'd expect it to be more 'minty.' In the player condition it is in I would put a top value of $3000 on that kit and that is still a lot of money to pay for a set of player grade drums rare and all. I wish the guy luck, I hope he finds a buyer for them. Killer set of drums.

I agree with John. Some nice extras with the double bass pedal but a bit too high in price.

I hope he can sell it at a decent price. But it looks like he won't budge on the price . . .

3 Yes 3 exclamation points . . . Asking $5000 firm serious inquiries only!!!

I doubt it would get $2,000. Seller is delusional.

Beautiful set!! For that price, he will most likely be keeping it!! Not many have 5k to spend on a drum set...

And after you pay $5000 for them what do you do with them? You can't gig them. $5000 dollars worth of drum room dust collectors.

Maybe his wife said, "you have too many drums. Before you buy any more you need to sell some" and this was his "attempt".

Damn, that's so close to my first, childhood kit (WMP 4-pc Gretsch round badge with rocket lugs) which I've been searching for. If that were Gretsch, I'd consider making a $4000 offer just out of nostalgia.

Sure he's aiming high with that price, but you never know when you might have that "must-have" kit which someone has been searching for.

Then go for it Mike! W&A was using Jasper shells when those drums were built. Not a spit of difference between that kit and one with a Gretsch badge. Same drums, different company name.
