Wake up California - Rogers

Are you California guys all sleeping? I know it's a big state, but someone must be near enough and funded enough to get this one.

Nice do I see a dyna there

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

It is a wood dyna, but I called this guy a month or two ago. Despite, these pictures still being up, he made it clear that it was an "accident" and that wood dyna (which he claimed belonged to Ginger Baker at one point) does not actually come with the kit. I told him it might be worth editing the pictures or the text to reflect this, but I guess he didn't bother to.

A beautiful kit regardless, but a lot less of a bargain. He's out in Palm Desert, which isn't insanely far from me, so if someone on here is interested I could pick it up, since I think the guy mentioned he wasn't going to ship them.

Looks like a Powertone

In my not so humble opinion, the Powertone is a much better snare drum. And, a wood-shelled Powertone is even "mo better".

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

Doesn't that wrap have cracking issues in general? I saw identical wrap once for sale and it was a mess..

Cracks and splits are all too common for the Onyx/Tiger-types of wrap as they mature.

First, I don't care for drum ads that say little about the drums. That's the case here. And, the fact that the snare drum is not included, and that the seller doesn't seem to care about updating the facts just doesn't sit well with me. Seems that he's hoping someone will just pull the trigger without knowing the overall condition. Sorry, but this is not how you sell vintage drums!

Very deceptive. Probably should be reported to Reverb. This is the advert statement:

"Rogers Vintage 4 piece kit. 20,16,12, snare

Zildjian Symbols

many spare parts"

Pictures show the Dynasonic.

Needs to learn how to spell cymbals too!

Are you California guys all sleeping? I know it's a big state

FYI -

Compared to the East Coast, California would start at Vermont/Canada border and stretch to the North/South Carolina border = almost 800 miles. Could be an overnight trip and then some. . . .

Local pickup 100 miles north of LA area could be quite the drive.
