Vistalite pricing hierarchy? Last viewed: 2 hours ago

Hi all,

As mentioned in another thread I am thinking of piecing together a 70s 3-pc concert tom Vistalite set. As I peruse the various use gear sites out there I am curious as to what the hierarchy is in terms of colors/finish when it comes to pricing (disregarding condition). For instance, I'm sure the opaque ones (black, white) are near the bottom while the relatively scarce green is high and the spirit of 76 swirl is at the top...

I believe blue and clear were the most common of the solid covers. Tequila Sunrsie was probably the most common in the multi-band. As you mention green is supposedly the color with the fewest kits produced. Solid white, black , smoke, and chrome over vista lite would be the least desirable colors to me. Of the rarest it seems like you don’t see vertical bands very often, they’re usually horizontal.

I don't think you will see a vertical band kit at all with concert toms, the pattern wasn't the most stable. I used to have a black/blue vertical kit,but double headed.
