I recently made a yard sale purchase and want to verify an id on this drum.It's a ludwig vistalite,red 5x14 the numbers are 1216210,it would seem to be a 76,can any body agree with this date? I paid 5 bucks.

Possibly as early as 75. I think you're in the ballpark for sure. Quite a find for 5 bucks.
