Late 1970s...No later. The confusion within the company caused a question...were they going to continue production in the US or make them all in Canada where they had set up an equal sized plant. Also...their premium cymbals (Ks) were being made in Canada...so there was a brief period where they did not know whether to stamp Made in Canada or Made in USA on them....the result was for a while they stamped nothing on Canadian made cymbals. The US made cymbals ALL had Made in USA stamped.BTW awc380....Nice Cymbal!
Thanks! It sounds pretty decent, I think. I scored a good deal the other week to get it - an old MIJ drum kit complete with hardware and cymbals (including that one) for $100. Good condition and everything too...
I'm playing a Zildjian 'Beautiful baby" right now on my main kit, so this cymbal will probably migrate to my second kit. Whenever that gets built up...
