SOLDSOLDSOLD. This item is sold. Thank you.
Hello,
This will be a two-part post due to the number of photos. Please see post "Part Two of Hi-Hats" for the other photos.
This sale is for a pair of 13" hi-hats. These are from a time before the cymbals were sold as matched pairs. The cymbals weigh 1083g and 1100g. Unfortunately, both cymbals have suffered cracks around the bells.
Cymbal #1 (1083g) has an almost three-inch long crack around the bell, following the lathe lines. Additionally, there are 5 or 6 dents/chips along the edge. The crack stays tight while playing, and I think they sound great. Please carefully examine the photos and ask any questions.
I believe these cymbals to be from the '50's or '60's. This is based purely on the fact that they appear that way to me and because they were with several other cymbals from that vintage. If the era of the cymbal manufacture is important to you, I encourage you to do your own research and not rely on my belief.
Terms: payment by PayPal once an agreement is reached. Upon receipt of the funds, I will ship it to you in a brand new shipping box, carefully and professionally wrapped in bubble wrap and packing peanuts. Once I have determined the shipping cost to you, I will ask for half of that payment from you (paid again on PayPal). I will pay the other half.
I believe that these cymbals belong in the hands (and under the sticks) of someone who truly wants them. I am offering them to VDF Members at prices that I believe to be very fair. If I am way off, just tell me so.
I am asking $80/best offer for these two cymbals. Please respond via Private Message for offers. Thanks. Josh.
