Vintage yamaha c-200 ??

Hey all you vintage Yamaha experts.. Was wondering if anyone can tell me a little bit about this kit, which i believe may be a Yamaha C-200 series from around 1969 ?? I contacted the seller and he finally responded. We're currently working out a meeting.. Maybe missing some parts, but the price can't be beat either ! If anything i'm sure some of you may have or know of someone who may have the missing parts in question if i ever need to get my hands on some. As it stands, still awaiting seller's reply for time and place to meet. I believe the finish is a pretty rare Midnight Surf, which looks like a black onyx, but slightly different. Any thoughts are appreciated ..

cheers,

Rob

Yeah.. If you get a hold of the owner i'll be a monkey's uncle ! Lol !

The seller is such a burnout that after 3 emails telling him that i was interested in the kit, that i had gig in his neck of the woods and could meet him to pick up the kit with no problem, and after i gave him my number in all the emails I sent, that i was available any time to pick up the kit at his convenience, and do you wanna know what his response was ? "I work Friday"..THAT'S ALL HIS RESPONSE WAS AND HE NEVER EMAILED ME AGAIN ! Some people just don't know how to deal with potential buyers.. What a nut case ..

No i didn't .. Now i know why the seller was giving me the run around.

He didn't want to be bothered responding to another potential buyer since the kit was sold.. I CAN'T STAND THAT !! If the kit was sold, he could've told me, and stopped wasting my time with an obscure email and never responding. I ALWAYS notify potential buyers as to whether my gear has sold or not, and i immediately remove it from the classifieds. The guy was an obvious procrastinator.. Here's a pic of the same type of kit from the internet that i found. Whatever the case, deals like this will always pop up. It's just that when you're dealing with oblivious people like this guy, it can't get frustrating.. Furthermore, from now on, I'll know when to post a thread asking for info on a kit..

When i actually have the kit in my possession..;)
