Up for sale is one set of three (3) Vintage Tama Swingstar project toms, consisting of a 16x16 (shell depth by head size in inches) floor tom, and 2 mounted toms (11x13 and 10x12). The drums are used and unassembled without any wrap, but are complete (other than the wrap). The exteriors and interiors are unfinished wood. The hardware is all present and shows signs of normal wear for it's age (some imperfections, scuffs, scratches, pitting, rust etc.). THESE DRUMS ARE NOT MINT COLLECTOR'S PIECES! These drums can be assembled as is and then would be in good working condition. Or, the buyer could wrap the drums or refinish (there are some imperfections in the outer plies which would require some touch up work: PLEASE see pictures!). The shells are of multi-ply construction, and the interiors are unfinished. The hardware included includes: 2-16" 6 hole rims; 2-13" 6 hole rims; 2-12" 6 hole rims; 36 Tama Swingstar lugs; 3 floor tom leg brackets; 2 mounted tom brackets; and 36 tension rods (not pictured). Also included but not pictured are 3 generic floor tom legs. I do not have the original grommets, so have included 3 new ones (screw on version: see pictures!). There are no extra holes in the shells. The heads are used but usable, 4 clear and 2 white. The heads may not look the best but are usable. These came to me in this exact condition (I have not attempted any repairs or cleaning) with a bass drum (already sold and NOT included in this listing) that had a badge which clearly stated "SWINGSTAR by TAMA" with a serial number of "041021" and "MADE IN TAIWAN R.O.C." I believe these drums to have been new in the 1980s.
