Vintage Tama Imperialstar Snare Drum..Need Info Please

This snare drum i got with a kit and also got a Hayman snare drum on another thread. Im not up to date with tama drums, would appreciate some help as in year model etc etc. Like the Hayman will be going up for sale. Thanks..sean

Model number is a 8005 according to '77 and '78 catalogs. The 80's muffler is a bit confusing. It may have been swapped or maybe is this snare right before the shift to the 80's model.
